Making Natural Hair Gel

Make natural hairgel using flaxseeds, water and essential oils(optional). This is super easy and very effective.

2 TBS whole flaxseeds
1 Cup water

These are my favorite essential oils:

And this is my favorite tea tree oil:

If you want to forgo making your own I did find this hair gel that is 100% natural and has no parabens, surfactants, fragrances or dangerous ingredients:

Natural Hair Wash & Condition Tutorial

Hey Ladies!

2017 Update: I wash my hair at least once every 3 weeks. My regimen (which isn't really a regimen) has changed since the filming of this video:

1. I no longer do hot oil treatments. I detangle my hair in sections with a spray bottle that contains water, conditoner and some oil. I saturate my hair with enough of the mixture so that I can detangle easily with a wide tooth comb. After its all detangled, I keep the twists in and head to the shower!
2. I still wash my hair in sections…about 6 or 7.
3. I shampoo twice making sure to focus on cleaning the scalp very well
4. I try to deep condition during every wash and when I do I cover my hair with a hot wash cloth, wrap with plastic and cover with a towel to trap the heat. I leave that on for about 15 mins then rinse.
5. I style my hair in many different ways…I haven't styled my hair in two strand twists in forever. I will sometimes blowdry my hair to stretch it and style in big twists to wear a twist out.

Traveling With Natural Hair | No Protective Style – Naptural85

It's so GOOD to be back!! I've missed you guys so much! This video was inspired by all the traveling I did last month! There were a lot of events, so I had to be prepared for any natural hair disasters I might come across! I have many different "wash and go" methods for my "natural hair." In-fact, I usually never do a wash and go the same way twice, but this has got to be one of my favorite methods! Perfect for the winter season, but can be used throughout the year, this "wash and go" stretches out my hair, defines my curls, and best of all, I get the leave the house with dry hair; talk about overcoming your shrinkage issues! No styling products or curling creams necessary! Hair is left soft, shiny, stretched, and manageable! Hope this helps!

This is an amazing natural hair gel LOaDEd with essential oils and nutrients. While other gets work against your hair, this one (from nature) works with it, to restore it's healthy shine and add moisture back into the cuticles!

I love the way it makes my hair and hands feel after applying it. And unlike other chemically processed gels, it doesn't leave your hair rock hard, so you can comb it and restyle whenever you want, your hair just soaks it in and uses the nutrients…can you tell that I really love this stuff!
