Faux Locs: Marley Locs, Temporary Loc Extensions, Protective Styling

Last year was all about Marley Twists and this year I've decided to try Faux Locs! These Temporary Loc Extensions are a great style for the winter months to keep you hair protected.

Hair Used: An assortment of Marley Hair I collected over the past year (maybe 10 or 11 packs)
Hair Color: 4 (dark brown), 27 (blonde) and a reddish brown
Time: at least 10 hours over 3 days (after some practice I could finish wrapping 8/hour)
Weight: It is very heavy, heavier than box braids.
Duration of Style: I plan on leaving mine in for at least 4 weeks but no more than 8, (although you could probably wear them up to 3 months depending on your hair type and condition of your hair)

One Year Natural Hair Journey (4b/4c hair) | Natural Hair Inspiration

My natural hair journey started February 2013, with my Bigchop taking place April 2013. I can not believe its been 1 year already!

This video is just a recap of my year at a glance for you guys. It wasn't always easy, but this journey has been so rewarding for me both physically and mentally and I'm very thankful to have started it. Team Natural babyyyyyyy!
