Hey guys, this is just a video explaining what I went through while transitioning to natural hair. This video is meant to encourage those who feel like they may have failed in their journey because they either went back to relaxer or feel like their hair isn't growing. Just wanted to show I went through a lot too, I transitioned 5 times before fully going natural.

This is flat-twist updo hairstyle done on natural hair.

This style can be done on those that are transitioning as well.
If you are unable to flat-twist, you can do cornrows or simply twist the hair over to the side pin it and then two-strand twist it down the rest of the way.

Background Info:
I decided to go all natural around November 2011
I have not straightened or dyed my hair since October 2011
Due to damaged hair that would no longer curl Ive been treating my hair without heat or chemicals.
I got my 1st Professional deva chan (curly hair salon) cut in January 2012 and here I am today months later with healthier more manageable hair that I can now be proud of and style easily with my natural curly hair.
