Yes, your hair can get clean without shampoo! In the span of a month, I do this three of the four weeks, and on the fourth week, I'll cleanse with my DIY homemade cleanser ( ). This helps my hair retain its natural oils and keeps my hair from becoming completely stripped! I hope you give it a try and love the results!

Total Time:
Total style time for this method is about two and a half hours depending on how fast your hair dries and how quickly you can straighten your hair.

Keep and Care:
To preserve this style, you can do a traditional wrap around your head and secure with a satin scarf, or pin curl sections and cover with a bonnet.

Defined Curls TWA Pixie Hairstyle on Natural Hair

Hey Sistas! This is a tutorial for short natural hair or TWAs. It’s an easy way to get defined, juicy curls using the Denman brush and gel. This is an updated version of how I used to do this style and nothing has really changed except that I’ve added a part my hair. This style take about an hour to do and can last for about a week. Please keep in mind that this technique may not work for longer natural hair. Enjoy!
