What you should know before transitioning to natural hair

Here's an easy way to detangle matted, transitioning hair. I have been transitioning to natural hair since April 2013. Experiencing some breakage while transitioning is inevitable but using the right technique will reduce the severity of it.

This method works great for me and I haven't found anything that works quite as well. I like to use a conditioner with ALOT of slip, as this will aid in the detangling process. I don't worry too much about silicones while detangling. I mostly leave the silicone-free products for moisture, such as deep conditioning.

This took me about 30-40 minutes to complete.

I do use the LOC method in this video but for the best results I use my OWN modified version of the LOC method. With saying that I want you all to keep in mind that you need to watch your curls and do whats best for your natural hair!
