My NATURAL HAIR GROWTH Journey 2013

I am in the process of growing my hair to TBL ( tail bone length).
I am currently taking 5000 mg biotin once a week and I am using Wen Cleansing Conditioner.

UPDATE 4/12/15
Since doing this video I just realized that the hair loss around my hair line came from using Wen Cleansing Conditioner. After I shot this video I stopped using wen and started using some Professional Products from my salon Jamaican black castor oil and my hair grew back and it's thicker. Please watch my other hair growth videos for more updates.

KEY WASH DAY TIPS FOR AFRO-TEXTURED (KINKY/CURLY/COILY) HAIR
•Pre-"Poo": Soften/Treat and Detangle hair before heading under water
•Finger Detangle Vs. using a comb which may rip/tear through tangles
•Wash in Sections to prevent tangles
•Use High Water Pressure to prevent tangles
•Hold hair taut/ stretched; use gentle downward smoothing motions on hair to avoid tangles (apply shampoo, conditioner, cleanse & rinse in this way)
•Use microfiber or cotton T-shirt to "towel" dry to avoid frizz & tangles
•Lock in moisture after washing with leave-in conditioner and moisturizing creams/butters of your choice. (Moisture & Seal with L.O.C, L.C.O or combination/layer products the way you desire)

-I used 2.5 packs of 18" hair plus an 18" closure
-Texture was mixed. I initially wanted coily wefts but the company mistakenly sent me all three textures. I made it work, but the company will be more than happy to work with you to resolve any issues if this were to happen to you.
-Coily wefts match with 3c/4a natural hair
-Hair color is a natural black
-Comes with clear and concise instructional booklet

-Soft
-True to texture
-True to length
-Responds well to cowash
-minimal shedding
-Natural looking

Cons
-smells like processed hair when unpackaged
-closure shed the most
-not the usual black color, might have to dye it
-got sent the wrong wefts (I managed but you can send them back if it happens to you)
