Hey Yall!! So I just wanted to show you how I created these loose wave curls on my natural hair. The process is super easy and the results are gorgeous! To maintain I use the same products and I re-twist at night.

This is the most perfect purple perm rod set of my ENTIRE EXISTENCE! You guys know that I have struggled with perm rods and I'm finally getting some super defined curls. The fact that I can do this without heat is even better.

Curl, Renew & Restore. Gentle Cleanser that detangles and replenishes moisture.

2. LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER: :
Untie The Knot. Lightweight detangler and moisturizer.

4. STYLING SERUM:
ReFlex serum creates bouncy, silky natural curls with flexible hold.

5. PURPLE PERM RODS:
Any other size should be fine as well. I definitely plan on using different sizes in the future to see how they work for me.

My hair color:
This a custom color job, created by a stylist at a salon, using a professional system not available in beauty supply stores and which requires a valid cosmetology license to purchase–no I do not know the name.
Bleach was not used. We have been lifting my hair lighter and lighter over time using developer (which is not bleach) since October of 2015. I will not post a video on how to color because I am not a licensed cosmetologist and I will not give directions on how to use chemicals that I do not have a good understanding of. If you'd like help with achieving this color, please consult a LICENSED professional who specializes in natural hair because coloring will alter your hair and can damage depending on your texture and the process.

We've all been broke before. Heck, I'm still broke and we have fallen upon tough economic times. lol. Anyway, here is a start to finish hair curling tutorial using common household items instead of hair products on my natural hair. Remember brown paper bag curls? I just used plastic grocery bags instead since nobody ever runs out of them. I wanted to challenge myself with these heatless curls especially since it's so difficult to curl our hair from scratch and get smooth, defined curls. I will be doing more challenges soon.

WHAT YOU NEED / PRODUCTS USED
1. Raw African Black soap used as a shampoo:
P/s. I woke up like that…shiny face and all.

2. Vanity Planet Groove Scalp massaging shampoo brush:
Use code "Lulu50" to get 50% off. I will talk about it in a future video.

3. Olive oil mixed with sunflower oil or whatever cooking oil you have. I forgot how good this stuff is on my scalp and hair. It really did wonders with detangling. It's going back in my staple products…plus it's CHEAP! Get some in the cooking isle.

4. Bath & body Works lotion: Morroco Orchid and Pink Amber. I think they discontinued it.

5. Walmart, Target, The Dollar Tree, and Publix grocery bags. lol.

6. The ghosts of bobby pins past. I still can't believe that I found 38 missing bobby pins!
