Hey Sistas! It has been a loooooong time since I discussed natural hair, and I think discussing the mistakes we've made in the past is great way to get the hair convo going again. I've made many mistakes handling my natural hair over the years, but most importantly, I'm learning from them. Lately, I haven't moisturized my hair enough, and I've let it get tangled and etc. My biggest mistake had been was using too much heat. I had to chop off inches due to heat damage 🙁 But, I'm learning and I plan to take better care of my kinks & curls! Share your mistakes and lessons in the comment section 🙂

HD ME!! I'm in 1080!
I'm calling this the "Twisted Knot": a simple and flattering protective hairstyle! It's heatless, perfect for medium to long length natural hair and is perfect all year long, whether winter, spring, summer or fall! This is a protective hairstyle that is appropriate for work and office, school, kids, pretty much anyone can pull this off! It's also a great natural hairstyle for working out! I can't say enough about how much I've been enjoying this style, I hope you like it as well!

XoXo!! Nap

Hey y'all! Here's my updated Twist Out hair tutorial that some of you requested. This is pretty much my hair regimen throughout the week. I like maintaining my hair like this because it keeps my ends stretched, my hair moisturized and I don't have to do much with it, especially since my hair is getting longer. Since I've started doing this routine, near the beginning of this year, I've find it a lot easier to manage my hair. I hope this will be some help to you all and please feel free to share it with someone who may find it informative.
