so I have been Loc'n My hair for 3 Months now Dec 13th will make a full 3 months. im super happy to have gotten this far and not change my mind. I do not use any products on my hair besides all natural sulphate free shampoos n all natural wash out conditioners along with oil and Rose water.

3 MONTH LOC UPDATE w/ TWO STRAND TWIST STARTER LOCS : KIESHA ARIELLE
Today I share with you my 3 MONTH LOC UPDATE on my TWO STRAND TWISTS STARTER LOCS! I am so excited to be at this stage. It has surprised me based on my expectations of starter my locs with the Two Strand Twist starter locs method. It has been 7 years ago when I had started my son's locs, and I dont recall the experience very clearly; so this was all new to me AGAIN!
But, not to fear if you are someone who is thinking to start your loc journey and is considering all the methods, including the TWO STRAND TWIST method, then my loc journey is certainly one for you to follow.
In this video I share with you what to expect within the first 3 months of locking your hair with this method.

– 3 years. I know I said three but I'm getting old yall… cant remember like I used to
What method am i using to start my locs?
– two strand twist method
What products did I use to twist my hair?
– just a water and olive oil mixture in a spray bottle and Jamaican Black Castor oil infused with Sage to seal my hair.
How many locs do I have?
– girl, I have zero clue. I will do a video counting them later!

I started my locs 9/25/12 using the two strand twist method.
My locs are semi-freeform. Semi- freeforming your locs is different from freeforming.
Freeform locs also referred to as natural locs, involves the natural locking of the hair without any manipulation.
Semi-freeforming is when the locs are partially manipulated by pulling the locs apart or retwisting certain sections such as the hairline.

4 years, my loc anniversary is on January 2 of every year.
❈What method did you use?
Comb Coils
❈What do you use to wash your locs? How often?
Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap, and I wash every 2 weeks+
❈Are your locs fake?
No. It is 100% my own hair that grew from my scalp
❈How often do you retwist? What do you use?
Every month or longer, and I use Eco Style Gel (Olive or Argan oil) and sometimes
with just water and natural oils in a spray bottle
❈How many locs do you have?
I have around 70 locs, I have combined several over the years. Planning on doing a video of counting my locs soon.
