Hello everyone
I Have installed Equal Cuban twists over my locs. It took me approximately 4.5 hours using 5 packs of hair.
I have always braided my own hair as a loose natural and this is my second time installing cuban twists over my locs. I find the hair to be light and easy to manage especially as the weather here in Toronto is beginning to get cold.
I plan to keep these in for a month as a protective style and hope to continue with braids till I hit my 1 year Loc anniversary December 6th 2015.

It's been one whole month!!
In this video I discuss dryness, splitting twists (roots) and shrinkage. I'm loving my new "two strand twists" starter loc journey. I'm embracing the frizz and rolling with the punches.
I've notice I have a few twists that are splitting at the root. Any advice on this?
