Asian Women think their eyes are too small and black women think their hair is too short."

"This video is specifically for black women with a small emphasis on East Asian women."
"The paradox: people love or are fond of uniqueness but also despise it because of fear and lack of understanding"

East Asian Double Eyelid: (blepharoplasty)

"In terms of the Western standard of beauty, conventional wisdom says straight hair and sometimes long hair is more desired." Why?
"Black women are more critical of their own black hair than any other race.
East Asian women are more critical of their eyes than any other race."

Hey, It's Taymer and Faizah.

June 1 is quickly approaching and we are excited to host our workshop, Natural Hair Mixology during the 11th annual St. Martin Book Fair.

St. Martin, as well as many other Caribbean islands, hold rich resources of botanical powerhouses that strengthen and support natural hair. We used homegrown and other easily accessible ingredients here on our island and can't wait to show you what we've learned.

In this video, we prepped our hair with our homemade line to bring you a easy updo you can wear on special occasions, at work or in between. Try it and show us your version or results. Enjoy.

Love your hair; Spread the word.
