Hey, It's Taymer and Faizah.

June 1 is quickly approaching and we are excited to host our workshop, Natural Hair Mixology during the 11th annual St. Martin Book Fair.

St. Martin, as well as many other Caribbean islands, hold rich resources of botanical powerhouses that strengthen and support natural hair. We used homegrown and other easily accessible ingredients here on our island and can't wait to show you what we've learned.

In this video, we prepped our hair with our homemade line to bring you a easy updo you can wear on special occasions, at work or in between. Try it and show us your version or results. Enjoy.

Love your hair; Spread the word.

Sorry for the terrible quality of the first few pictures, the cameras on our phones were definitely not iPhone quality at that time. However, I hope you enjoy the video(:

After years of relaxers, coloring, and straightening my hair daily, my hair was in it's worse state by 2009. In 2012 I decided to do my first big chop and I have been nurturing my natural hair back to health ever since. My goal length is waist length. I am currently at BSL (bra strap length).
