Hey guys! Okay so here I go again with trying to be back full force but ignore my previous attempts lol. So I did these yarn/faux locs myself and like I said it took 2 days. For more info about it just ask below. Anyway, these are the styles I came up with on the random so like I said sorry if I couldn't reiterate them properly! I searched youtube when I was doing them and didn't see many if any styling videos so it only made sense to get some out there. Hope this helps y'all out.

My very first video of my loc journey. I talk about why I decided to loc, what I feel about loose natural hair, palm roll vs interlocking, showing my parting, etc. Two strand twists were installed April 5, 2013 and took 9 hours.

The Complete Looks:
1. Crochet Twists:
2. Bohemian Curly:
3. Faux Locs:
Previous videos on making wefts:
1. Burgundy Crochet Braids:
2. Make a Weave Ponytail:

What's the point of all of this? (3 reasons)
1. I decided that since faux locs, twists and curly hair tend to get messy faster than straight or braided hair, I want to be able to install the hair without accidentally snagging it with my hook.
2. It only takes 35 minutes to an hour to actually make the wefts for 7-8 packs of hair.
3. I can install the hair evenly and easily remove it to reuse it later.

I'm going to do different things with my hair. The bohemian hair will be a half wig with a knotless closure. The twists and faux locs will be sew-ins with an individual crochet leave-out. This is just to show you what I did and the styling videos will follow.

HAIR USED
1. Bohemian Curl 18”, Motown Tress 3X PRE-LOOPED Handmade Kanekalon Crochet Braid
2. Freetress Crochet Braid Pre-Twisted Flashy Curl
3. Urban Beauty Goddess Faux Locs 12" – Color 1B – Synthetic Braiding Hair

WHAT YOU NEED
1. Red Heart Nylon Crochet Thread – Black
2. Crochet hook 3.75 MM or 4 MM in size

Today my sister is going to show you how to Box Braid, Senegalese twist and Faux Loc with extensions on natural hair. Now that I'm in my final year of university and I'm way too busy with my final project, I'm trying to do more protective styles. Hoping to keep this up untill the summer. For information or request for braiding/twisting (if you live in The Netherlands) mail my sister at: v.joval@hotmail.com

I did this style on 80% damped hair. My sister finds it better to braid/twist on damped hair. However you choose to braid/twist your hair, you still have to be gentle with your hair. It took us 7 hours to complete this hairstyle.
I've used 8 packs to achieve this hairstyle. The hair i've used is by African collection Jumbo braid in colors: 33, M1B/33, 6 and M1B/BG. I've used:
4 packs in the color 33
2 packs in the color M1B/33
2 packs in the color 6
2 packs in the color M1B/BG

New videos on Thursdays & Sundays at 10:30 am EST/7:30 am PST/16:30 Amsterdam time (Dutch videos every last Sunday of the month).

Last year was all about Marley Twists and this year I've decided to try Faux Locs! These Temporary Loc Extensions are a great style for the winter months to keep you hair protected.

Hair Used: An assortment of Marley Hair I collected over the past year (maybe 10 or 11 packs)
Hair Color: 4 (dark brown), 27 (blonde) and a reddish brown
Time: at least 10 hours over 3 days (after some practice I could finish wrapping 8/hour)
Weight: It is very heavy, heavier than box braids.
Duration of Style: I plan on leaving mine in for at least 4 weeks but no more than 8, (although you could probably wear them up to 3 months depending on your hair type and condition of your hair)

If your in Chicago and interested in getting Faux Locs, Havana Twists, Marley Twists, or Senegalese Twists done, email me at donedo@umich.edu with the subject: Hair Inquiry for more information! Click here for client photos or check out my instagram: donedo

Hey kyssers! Welcome back to my channel. This video shoes two twisted buns I love to rock on my natural hair. The best part about them is that I can style them in less than 15 minutes!
