A lot of us who are embarking on our loc journey, often times aren't quite sure on how to approach washing our hair in the beginning stages; fearing that we are gonna disrupt our "starter locs"; whether they be two strand twists, comb coils, sister locs, crocheted locs or even interlocked locs.

Oil Rinsing | Natural Hair

Hey lovelies! Today I oil rinsed my hair for the first time (though I think it's about the same as doing a hot oil treatment). I decided to rinse my hair twice with the oil mixture. The first time I used it alone (without conditioner) to see how my hair felt and it felt soft. The second time I used it with the conditioner. It definitely gave me more slip and made my hair more manageable.
